||Egypt : The Ministry of Aviation is preparing to host the International Meeting of African Airports Managers (ACI Africa2019)
||In the framework of the African cooperation strategy adopted by the Egyptian government in various fields, including the air transport industry, the Minister of Civil Aviation has given his directives to take all necessary preparations to host Egypt's Conference of the International Airports Council ACI Africa 2019, organized by the Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation in its 61st session Will be held from March 4 to 10, in the presence of nearly 400 representatives of airports in Africa, representatives of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and representatives of the International Council of Airports (ACI).
In this context, Minister Younis Al Masry called on the Ministry of Civil Aviation to receive this important event and pay additional numbers of work teams, increase ground equipment and facilitate the necessary logistics services in Cairo and Luxor airports to deal with the operating density during this period. Delegates participating in the event through their own counters in addition to the slogan of the conference in Cairo and Luxor airports.
For his part, the pilot Ahmed Genina, President of the Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation said that hosting Egypt for this important event confirms its leading role in the continent. The selection of Luxor City for the conference came as a culmination of the cultural and archaeological status enjoyed by the city. In the application of air safety rules on the level of Africa at the annual meeting of the General Assembly of the World Council of Airports in addition to the possession of Luxor tourist components of hotels and conference rooms and sites that will contribute to the success of this event. It is worth mentioning that Egypt is a key member of the International Council of Airports Council represented by the Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation.
