Effective September 1, 2019, Dr. Schultes contract will be extended for an additional five years until August 31, 2024. Born in Wuppertal, Germany, Schulte completed his education and training in banking and economics with a doctorate degree in business administration. He joined Fraport AG in 2003 as the companys CFO. In April 2007, Schulte was appointed deputy chairman of the executive board; since September 2009 he has been serving as Fraports CEO.
